IZOMAX MC – 1 is a Cold applied product, easy to apply, it doesn’t need thinning or heating complies with the requirements and specifications of ASTM D-2027 standard. Which is blended with Penetration grade of bitumen and medium curing solvents, waiting and saturation additives.
USES
IZOMAX MC – 1 MEDIUM CURING CUT BACK ASPHALT COMPILES WITH MOC Specification for Road and Bridge Construction Treatment of road surfaces and pavement as a prime coat. Construction works, protective and dam proofing coating, foundation, concrete metal timer etc. Soil stabilization.
APPLICATION
suitable for use in the construction & maintenance of pavement as designated in MOC Specification. It is ideal for prime coat. IZOMAX MC – 1 is applied to asphalt or granular surfaces using truck mounted spray equipment.
CLEANING
TOOL Clean with petroleum solvents.
HANDS Use a hand cleaner or solvent followed by soap and water.
STORAGE AND PRESERVATION
IZOMAX MC – 1 should be stored under ventilated covered store at temperature between 5C and 30C. The shelf life of 24 months can be expected for unopened containers stored properly.

For tack coats, the maximum rate is 0.25 liters/m2 depends on the porosity of the prepared soil surface.

HEALTH & SAFETY
Contains petroleum grads of solvent, flammable, keep away from open fire, spark or other ignition sources were protective cloths, safety shoe, gloves and goggles.
FIRE Flammable when wet flash point 40c
SKIN Avoid repeated or prolonged skin contact if contact occurs remove with hand cleaner that removes oil and grease then clean with soap and water.
EYES No special precautions required. But if eyes contact cause irritation, flush with clean water.
